The Journey

Hello all! I'm Jade.

I just want to introduce myself. I am a working, single mom who lives in the South. My son is in high school and is an awesome kid with a passion for (dare I say it?) gaming! One of these days... LOL We have two dogs and pretty much have a normal, simple life.

Like many of you, I am one of those adults with a very busy work and family life - and sometimes, a social life! :-) I have a "real" job, but have often delved into various careers on the side - from real estate to travel to web design. Let's face it, we all want "The American Dream", right? Well, that's not always easy when you only have one source of income in the family and you're time and resources are limited.

Over the years, I've learned many skills in my regular profession as well as some things I had to learn the hard way - on my own - mostly while dabbling in various opportunities in an effort to earn an extra buck. My goal is to share some of that knowledge with you in hopes that you will be able to simplify your own life and enjoy a life that's rewarding - not just the daily grind.
